Job Duties and Responsibilities

Tax compliance and reporting require rigorous accuracy across dynamic international and domestic jurisdictions. This role addresses complex tax return preparation, Pillar 2 compliance, and quarterly financial reporting demands under senior oversight. The primary objective is mitigating tax risk and ensuring audit-ready documentation through structured research, data reconciliation, and digital record maintenance.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives)

  • Prepare U.S. international, local foreign, and Pillar 2 tax returns across multiple foreign jurisdictions to maintain global regulatory compliance.

  • Support quarterly reporting deliverables, including 10-K and 10-Q filings, within required corporate deadlines.

  • Conduct tax research to resolve statutory issues, identify legal deductions, and optimize tax positions.

  • Reconcile financial records and assemble comprehensive, audit-ready work papers.

  • Leverage AI tools to automate routine data collection, streamlining tax calculations and improving reporting efficiency.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring)

  • Ability to perform complex financial reconciliations and tax research in multi-jurisdictional compliance environments.

  • Strong skills in international tax principles, statutory reporting standards, and Pillar 2 framework execution.

  • Proficiency in tax enterprise software (e.g., CorpTax, OneSource, or GoSystem) combined with advanced Microsoft Excel capability.

  • AI literacy and application to tax workflow automation, data extraction, and research efficiency.

  • Critical experience managing structured financial records, supporting quarterly reporting cycles, and preparing audit documentation.

Additional Qualifications

  • Progress toward CPA certification or licensure.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum Experience: 0–4 years of experience in tax preparation.

  • Required Technical Skills: Must have experience with:

    • Tax preparation software (CorpTax, OneSource, or GoSystem)

    • Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Teams, and SharePoint)

    • Statutory tax research databases
