Company Summary

EchoStar is reimagining the future of connectivity. Our business reach spans satellite television service, live-streaming and on-demand programming, smart home installation services, mobile plans and products.

Today, our brands include Boost Mobile, DISH TV, Gen Mobile, Hughes and Sling TV.

The EchoStar Talent Acquisition team collaborates with innovative leaders across the organization, seeking individuals who embody our company's core values, creative spirit and drive to make a difference. From discovering and nurturing exceptional talent to navigating the complexities of an evolving and multi-dimentional business, our TA professionals are catalysts for positive change, both within the company and in their own careers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a TA Pipeline Programs Specialist, you will serve as an operational engine and program architect in executing our enterprise talent strategy. As we build and evolve this function, you will work in daily collaboration with the TA Manager, broader Talent Pipeline Strategy team, HR, and external partners to transition our recruitment model from reactive hiring to a proactive, program-led engine. Success in this role means taking hands-on ownership of the end-to-end design, launch, and execution of structured talent experiences—including internship programs, apprenticeship models, and community college pilot initiatives—combining operational rigor and candidate engagement to build scalable future pipelines.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives)

  • Design & Execute Core Pipeline Programs: Lead the operational design, scheduling, and day-to-day management of structured talent programs, including the enterprise Intern Program, Apprenticeships, and early career experiences.
  • Pilot & Launch Innovative Pathways: Co-design and pilot new channel initiatives—such as Community College talent partnerships, trade school pipelines, and Veteran transition programs—aligning curriculum and program milestones directly with enterprise business demand.
  • Cohort Engagement & Community Nurturing: Build, segment, and actively nurture talent pools and program participants within modern CRM/ATS platforms to maintain engagement throughout the program lifecycle and post-graduation.
  • Drive Operations & Process Improvement: Architect and continuously optimize scalable operational workflows for talent programs, identifying efficiencies in onboarding, performance tracking, and program delivery to ensure long-term scalability and programmatic excellence.
  • Track Program Infrastructure & Metrics: Measure and analyze program effectiveness, participant conversion rates, and funnel health to establish KPIs that demonstrate program ROI and long-term business impact.
  • Leverage AI & Modern Program Tools: Utilize AI-driven search aggregators, ATS workflows (iCIMS/Simplify/HR Link), and program management tools to streamline candidate discovery, automate screening, and scale program operations.

Core Skills and Competencies (What You’ll Bring)

  • Program Design & Execution Mastery: Proven ability to build, manage, and scale experiential talent programs (e.g., Internships, Apprenticeships, Co-ops, or Community College pilots) from initial onboarding through cohort completion and conversion.
  • Teaming & Deep Collaboration: You thrive in a highly collaborative environment, working seamlessly with the TA Manager, business managers, HR partners, and educational administrators to deliver exceptional participant experiences.
  • Eagerness to Learn & Evolve: You bring a growth mindset and genuine curiosity to test, iterate, and refine new program models in a fast-paced, evolving talent function.
  • Talent Community & Cohort Engagement: Skilled in building and managing active candidate networks and program cohorts using modern ATS/CRM platforms to keep participants engaged before and during their experience.
  • Process Enablement & SOP Development: Ability to establish operational blueprints, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and event playbooks for recurring program cycles across the enterprise.
  • AI Literacy & Digital Automation: An "AI-first" mindset with hands-on proficiency using AI search tools, ATS workflows, and event tools to optimize recruitment and administrative workflows for cohorts.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Successful candidates will typically have:

  • Demonstrated track record in talent acquisition combined with hands-on experience designing or managing structured talent programs (e.g., Internship Programs, Apprenticeships, Community College/Vocational pilots, or University Relations).
  • Experience building program collateral, event schedules, and manager toolkits for cohort-based hiring.
  • A track record of thriving in dynamic, early-stage strategy builds that require agility, creative problem-solving, and continuous iteration.
  • Hands-on proficiency with enterprise ATS tools (iCIMS preferred), CRM/sourcing aggregators, and early career program management platforms.

Education & Experience

  • Equivalent Experience: Practical experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Pipeline Programs, University Relations, or Workforce Development initiatives. We value hands-on program execution, demonstrated skills, and measurable business impact over select academic degrees or specific years of experience.
