Job Duties and Responsibilities

Managing high-volume distribution center operations requires seamless alignment between IT systems and real-time warehouse workflows. Modern supply chain environments rely heavily on robust Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to prevent operational bottlenecks, system downtime, and throughput delays. What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

  • Serve as the primary Customer Success Manager and IT SME to bridge communication between IT engineering and warehouse floor operations
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production validations, and application deployments to ensure flawless system execution during critical go-lives and peak operational periods
  • Resolve expert-level application issues in real-time, coordinating with external vendors and Change Advisory Boards (CAB) to minimize operational disruption
  • Analyze system usage reports, data accuracy, and capacity metrics to drive continuous process improvements across manufacturing and distribution units
  • Apply AI-driven analytics and intelligent reporting tools to identify operational bottlenecks, optimize data interpretation, and streamline documentation workflows
  • Deliver site-wide training, application mentorship, and clear technical guidance to empower cross-functional business partners

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):

  • Critical experience managing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) operations, UAT execution, and end-to-end IT application support within distribution environments
  • Expertise in interpreting complex operational data, technical instructions, and business requirements to write functional scopes and business correspondence
  • Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, supply chain logistics, and cross-functional project management across manufacturing and transportation teams
  • Superior communication, relationship-building, and change management skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Practical AI application skills to automate data gathering, analyze capacity utilization trends, and accelerate problem-solving workflows
  • Strong problem-solving, factual reasoning, and vendor management capabilities under high-pressure, time-sensitive operational conditions
  • Experience with Manhattan SCALE, Microsoft SQL Server, web applications, or Oracle systems

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or highly related experience and education
