Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Head of Marketing Strategy & Investment leads media investment planning and strategies to drive profitability and incremental growth across all lines of business. This role addresses complex portfolio allocation challenges by steering sales channel strategies and establishing clear business case accountability. By integrating Media Mix Modeling, predictive analytics, and consumer insights, the role optimizes cross-channel marketing returns and unearths high-impact growth opportunities.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

  • Oversee annual and quarterly media investment planning sessions while managing dynamic budget reallocations across channels
  • Establish rigorous business case processes and quarterly reviews to bring financial accountability and performance insights
  • Collaborate on Media Mix Modeling (MMM) and leverage AI-driven predictive marketing analytics to maximize ROI
  • Direct cross-functional partnerships with analytics, finance, and consumer insights teams to ensure accurate data tracking
  • Lead and empower high-performing marketing teams to execute complex projects under tight deadlines

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):

  • Advanced expertise in paid media execution across social, search, display, OTT/CTV, and linear channels
  • Critical experience managing multi-channel marketing platforms, external agencies, and affiliate programs for growth
  • Proficiency in AI Literacy and marketing analytics tools to interpret performance metrics and optimize campaign yield
  • Strategic problem-solving, financial acumen, and deal negotiation capabilities
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills within fast-paced environments

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the retail wireless industry
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (or equivalent direct experience)
  • Minimum Experience: 7 years of experience in executing paid marketing programs
  • Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 4 years of experience with:
    • Marketing platform and agency management
    • Media Mix Model (MMM) analytics and financial tracking
    • Paid channel platforms including social, search, display, online video, OOH, OTT/CTV, and linear

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
