Job Duties and Responsibilities

Facilities maintenance operations require proactive upkeep, complex electrical troubleshooting, and continuous site safety compliance. The role addresses critical operational downtime and electrical component failures across commercial or industrial facilities. Success in this position ensures seamless equipment reliability and strict adherence to electrical codes, support of organizational uptime targets, and maintaining high safety standards across all seasons.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

• Complete daily facility checks and electrical assignments; isolate wiring defects, repair faulty components, and mount equipment according to diagram specifications
• Leverage AI-powered diagnostic tools and predictive maintenance software to proactively detect electrical anomalies and optimize daily task scheduling
• Execute broader site maintenance duties including equipment room sanitation, snow removal, and safe operation of forklifts, tractors, and man lifts
• Drive departmental reliability goals by completing all work in a craftsman-like manner conforming to local building and NEC codes
• Record and track all maintenance activities using PC software to support facility operational visibility and compliance reporting

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring):

• Expertise in electrical systems troubleshooting, circuit testing, component installation, and mechanical repairs
• AI literacy to utilize digital diagnostic tools and computerized maintenance management software effectively
• Strong problem-solving abilities to safely diagnose wiring defects and perform hot work in panels
• Technical comprehension to read and interpret complex technical documents, one-line drawings, and safety procedure manuals
• Collaborative communication and safety leadership, ensuring full compliance with PPE requirements and protocol execution

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with training required for Journeyman Electrician's Certification
• 2 years of experience in a commercial or industrial environment, including troubleshooting and testing electrical systems
• Must have at least 2 years of experience with:
  • Journeyman license for the State of Wyoming or a reciprocating state (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Interpreting electrical schematics, one-line drawings, and NEC codes
  • Safe execution of hot work in electrical panels and industrial hand tool operation
• Physical capability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate off ladders in diverse indoor/outdoor weather conditions

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
