The AI Enablement team supports the AI Office by helping to scale AI capabilities across the organization. We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a strategic financial partner to our product, engineering, and executive teams.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview. This role is full-time, onsite in the Denver Metro Area. 

In this role, you will act as the financial connective tissue between our technical roadmap and business growth. You will build high-fidelity financial models, evaluate the ROI of complex technology investments, and translate complex operational data into clear, high-impact narratives for senior leadership. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in financial modeling paired with strong executive presence and communication skills.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives)

  • Financial Modeling & ROI Valuation: Build, maintain, and refine robust multi-year financial models, scenario analyses, and cost/benefit frameworks to evaluate strategic investments and business cases
  • Executive Presence & Reporting: Translate intricate cost drivers and strategic analysis into concise board decks, executive summaries, and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Strategic Business Partnership: Embed alongside product and operational leaders during project lifecycles to provide predictive financial guidance, cost-avoidance strategies, and investment recommendations
  • Forecasting & Variance Tracking: Develop and maintain detailed financial forecasts for operational expenses (including cloud computing and technology resources), tracking projected vs. actual performance to refine forecasting accuracy
  • Framework & Process Design: Implement scalable valuation frameworks, financial templates, and intake standards to ensure return on investment (ROI) is evaluated consistently across all new initiatives

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring)

  • Advanced Financial Modeling: Proven expertise in building dynamic Excel-driven financial models from scratch, including DCF models, unit economics, and multi-year forecasting models
  • Executive Presence & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated track record of presenting complex financial insights clearly and persuasively to executive leadership
  • Technology Acumen: Broad understanding of general technology cost drivers (e.g., cloud platforms, SaaS economics, compute resources) without requiring hands-on engineering capabilities
  • Business Storytelling: Outstanding ability to synthesize dense numerical data into actionable business stories and executive-level recommendations
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Strong player-coach mindset with the ability to lead workshops, align cross-functional stakeholders, and educate business leaders on financial valuation frameworks

Additional Qualifications

  • Cloud-specific AI certifications such as AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer, or Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals

  • An MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced professional credential

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-focused environment or within the telecommunications industry

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

    • MBA or CFA designation is a plus
  • Minimum Experience: 5–7+ years of progressive experience in corporate FP&A, corporate development, investment banking, or technology valuation

  • Required Technical Skills: 

    • Building financial and valuation models for technical infrastructure or SaaS products

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
